Rich and smoky, not too sweet, solid $25 pinot gris. Lavish notes of ripe peach, pineapple, apricot and beeswax on the nose with a full, caressing palate where pineapple and botrytis notes reign. Could use more acidity as they always can, but this is better balanced than most!

2010. I only had a quick taste of this but the wine is broad and round on the palate, yet the ripe, lush tropical flavours carry on well with nice medium acid. Medium dry. Ripe melons drizzled w honey... A shadow of stoniness in the undercurrent.
