
Cherry, hay, a tiny touch of oak and vanilla too. Good burgundy nose! The palate is a model of balance : very strong acid backbone, nice cherry fruit all along, good width and grip on the sides, silky mouthfeel. A tannic wall shows up in mid palate to add a grain to the mouthfeel, disrupting a palate which was a bit linear um until then, and powers up a very long finish with cherry and that granular mouthfeel. We paired it with roasted goose. Wow that was great!
