A controversial bottle for the JSquad. Not worth rating due to uncertainty with bottle quality, but the fruit was starting to open up a bit. Ponsot can take so long to come around, but not too much longer to wait to find enjoyment from a good bottle. #lapaulee

Magnum 1993 Domaine Ponsot Cuvèe Vieilles Vignes Close de la Roche PN. Dinner at Bouch w S&L DiM and P&S Co. Opened this and drank before the 1990 Latour out of magnum. This was just so lovely to drink with the rich French food and K particularly enjoyed having this out of large format. Thought it drank as well as he could have hoped.
