Electric—like a N. Rhône white without the flab. Angular, with sexy hollowed-our cheeks. Schiele, not Renoir. 60% maccabeu, the remainder split between grenache gris/blanc. Fermented in concrete, aged in barrel. Lemon curd, beeswax, singing acid....

Apr 28th, 2020Agree with others, needs a decant. Slight nose of honey and stone, palate is candle wax, minerals petrol (riesling-like), caramel, citrus, great acidity. Let it develop in the glass. Quelle surprise.

A white that may benefit from a decant. Once open, wild aromas of wet stone, caramel and vanilla. Smells like rocks. Fresh and focused as a nail on the acidity. Fun stuff!
