Cuvée Laïs White Blend

Wow this is good. So much schist on the palate, taste the terroir. Seafood, fossils, smoke, this blend is heavenly. Maccabeu, Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc

Pretty nice cold, showed a mousy side later.

Electric—like a N. Rhône white without the flab. Angular, with sexy hollowed-our cheeks. Schiele, not Renoir. 60% maccabeu, the remainder split between grenache gris/blanc. Fermented in concrete, aged in barrel. Lemon curd, beeswax, singing acid....

Agree with others, needs a decant. Slight nose of honey and stone, palate is candle wax, minerals petrol (riesling-like), caramel, citrus, great acidity. Let it develop in the glass. Quelle surprise.

Fresh, plastic, babybel.

A white that may benefit from a decant. Once open, wild aromas of wet stone, caramel and vanilla. Smells like rocks. Fresh and focused as a nail on the acidity. Fun stuff!
