Touraine Sauvignon

Vivid acidity. Refreshing but not much else going on.

Making French onion soup. Perfect cooking wine. Ok for drinking, just very simple. Alcoholic nose, green apple, lemon, sweetish. A large quantity of caramelizing onions in butter has an apple-like aroma, so this is working.

First wine of 2021 🤩 classic Loire white

Funky. Good.

Very typical SB nose and palate. Straightforward and good value for a few euros in French supermarket. At Marilyn and Thor.

Nice and crisp and dry very well priced.

Light, but can stand up to blue cheese. Goes well with fish.

A good Sauvignon at a good price.
