Much cooler & more savoury than the Chaponniere. Starts quite reductive & closed but after 1h shows herby freshness, light raspberries, fresh huckleberries, a light touch of mushroom & hint of mint.
On the palate this shows some weight, with firm yet juicy tannins, good depth, sappy acidity. This is more savoury and more ‚foody‘ vs the Chaponniere yet also more complex & with more character.
Both unmistakably Cote Chalonnaise.
