La Chasseliere Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Fruit forward, easy to drink and the right kind of oak use. Not overdone.

Early in the day before our taste buds were destroyed.

Classic Syrah without being overly dirty. Lot of purple, wild fruit, some pepper, still rich and expressive, an approachable style of rhone wine.

Solid with braised venison.

Black fruits, spice and vanilla. Great with a magret de canard au piment d'espelette !

A very balanced Crozes. Good job!

Excellent après douze heures carafe puisque le bois tend à s'effacer

12 Crozes: bright red black colour of medium to heavy density; youthful aromas of black and green olives with a touch of new leather, clean as a whistle. Lively attack on entry, medium length leads to middle pallet of similar intensity, crisp acid and tannin to close with fruit finishing slightly short. Very good new world style.
