Chardonnay from 50 years old rooted in stony, gravelly soils in Les Grechons, high on the hill in Ladoix, this is an upper slope rockhead’s delight. Elegant, precise nose with aromas of pear, citrus (orange peel), white flowers and hazelnuts. Delicate, layered, slightly round and creamy on the palate. Vanilla cake, citrus and minerals. Great texture. Long, slightly saline finish
