Very dark garnet color with a strong Pinot nose with black fruits and earth. Even after some air was harsh and very chalky. But after an hour or so it softened considerably with clear dark red & black fruit on the tongue plus earth and medium tannins and acidity on the finish. Much better with lots of air!
