Lovely lovely burgandy.. The nose is fabulous and classic beaune with olive, tar, cherry candy, pomegranate and a lasting impression of fresh red licorice.. Palate is sensual and smooth, not overbearing but just seamless.. A note of fig preserves lingers on the palate. A well-constructed wine indeed.
