Domaine Méo-Camuzet
Clos Saint-Philibert Monopole Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Chardonnay
What a regal wine. The Pinot Blanc minerality is extremely pronounced. Almost graphite chalky minerality on nose and palate and even finish. Chunky honeyed slightly oaky aromas on glass residuals, but alongside a freshness and a pleasingly bitter finish. So very lovely. The austerity of the 2011 vintage works wonders on this wine. Mandarin orange and apricot acid finish. Very impressive. Obviously a great partner to freshwater fish.

Oct 4th, 2014Decent dry flavor, acidity just right. Lots of cream, tiny bit of vanilla. Nice after-taste, full of mushrooms.
