Gordons tasting Deiss 6/6/17. $82. Clay and limestone. Nice nose of flowers and fruits and minerals and stones. Complex. But a bit reticent. Great structure and fruit and sweet on palate. Soil had gypsum with sulfur. Really complex finish. Yum! Resists oxidation because roots grow there. Can age. Wait ten years. So will be great when older.

A singular wine. Amber in color with an intense nose. Ripe white fruit, a touch of apple and pineapple. Sweet and high viscosity. Long, pure finish. These wines are always an adventure. ****
