Maybe my 3rd bottle of this particular cuvée and by far showing the best. Beautiful nose of lanolin, honey, and chicken broth. Delicate texture with the same savory notes as the nose but with beautiful over ripe lemon acidity carrying it across the palate. An absolute pleasure to drink.

Visited this winery in October 2015. Impressive, unique style, blended wines. Citrus, lemon, even white truffle, bright yet mellow. Changes in the glass in complexity. Mimicks a sweetness, yet dry on the palette. High viscosity. Round, balanced great with ham.

Gordons tasting Deiss 6/6/17. $45. Number four. Slightly more golden color. Interesting nose of mature fruits and hints of oily petrol that's very soft. Silky and tension on palate and beautiful nice complex finish. Yum. Just 200 M from number three. Same grapes. Yet palate is broad and wide and more dense. Remaining bouquet in glass very different. Limestone soil. With tannins and can age. This is current release. Aged in small barrels unlike others. Hillside and cool yet 14abv.
