Domaine Marcel Deiss
Là où Pousse les Haie Huebuhl Alsace 1er Cru Riesling Blend
Bright viscous entry with apricot and stewed apples leading. Beautiful spice notes, honey and vanilla cream follow on an almost pillowy texture. Botrytis stands out a bit in the finish, but the wines is complete from front to rear with great acid integration and lift which offers perfect balance to the ripe, rich fruit and RS.

1 person found it helpfulAug 29th, 2015This amber wine is clean and well into development (tasted Jan 2016). Medium plus intensity aromas of tangerine, mandarin orange, toffee, nuts, sugar cookies, sweet spices and pulled sugar. Strong florality and moderate inorganic minerality. The palate follows the nose pretty closely, however, there is much more fresh fruit here. Structurally, it's dry with evident RS (prob could call this off-dry), moderate alcohol, medium acid and some phenolic bitterness. Long finish, very complex. Outstanding
