Gordons tasting Deiss 6/6/17. $40. Sixth wine. Very tasty and cutting peachy nose. Vertical and acidic and sharp and boring attack on palate and long finish. Very different from number five. Now ice age sticky soil. Clay. Missing a bit of volume on this vintage of extreme weather. Cool taste and dark and not a coming winner. Bitterness tannins and tobacco yet a warm terroir. Minerality. Had one third of Gewurz!
