Every bit as limpid as another such Riesling born yesterday and yet there is a deft penetrating mineral here to use that poetic license -that refreshes like water but lingers in a pear honeysuckle scented finish which despite its water weight consumes ones whole bulb!

Had 4+ bottles and all were oxidized. Smelled and tasted like fino sherry, but with more acid and body. Aside from some lemon notes, none of the fruit as represented in the tasting notes. Too bad as I generally love Alsace Riesling.

17.5+. A clear step above the top Australian Rieslings I have. 2001 Kreydenweiss Kastelberg GC. Darkish gold, expansive nose, wonderful mouthfeel, very long.
