In a gorgeous spot right now. Uber feminine Cornas with delightful raspberry fruit and some funk. What a treat.

2005 Domaine Lionnet "Terre Brulée" Cornas - initially tart and tight, needed 30 minutes in the decanter to open up. Slightly underripe dusty red fruits-strawberry and cherry, mineral, pepper and smoked meats. Paired perfectly with American Cut's cheeseburger with shaved black truffles. Drink now hold for another 8-10 years.

Pretty and correct but not impactful.

This is one of my favorite wines. Not what you expect out of Syrah. Smells like guava, passion fruit. Bright raspberry, spice has some shadow but really isn't there. So smooth and fun, I would drink it everyday.

Really cool. Fruits moving toward dried with dried floral components too. Moving into the cedar side of things. Red fruits that are drying but showing well. And this really fun dank earthiness beginning to show. Structurally integrated

The prettiest Cornas I've ever had. Explosive and incredibly complex.

Very simple, plain wine. Zero finish. Had half a glass in a restaurant and was ready to buy another bottle of anything else.
