Baking spice, sous bois and mineral tones wrap the red cherry and pomegranate fruit in the wines restrained but precise nose. Opens with subtle spice from stem inclusion with red and black cherry fruit. Tannins are subdued with more acidity than expected given the vintage. Elegant and persistent on the finish with nice earth tones and red fruit. Opens nicely with air. Drinking now and over the next 5 to 7 years
