'07 beautiful. iron and flowers. Crushed blue fruits and rocks. Yet not at all heavy. Very young.

Everything about this '07 chinon sings. Just enough age so the smoke and wood starts to peek out from behind those still kicking bright red fruit.

Strong Chinon. Barnyard and vegetal on the nose, but not too green. Good tannin and fruit upfront. Finish starts off short but with some air gets longer. Served alongside the Harmand-Geoffroy Gevry-Chambertin Vielles Vignes 2005, and was strongly preferred by the ladies at the dinner.
