A terrific elderly bottle of Gigondas. All earth, herb, and mushrooms, with fruit taking a backseat at this juncture. Not at all tired. Still energetic and lovely.

Ruby, savory nose. Mature elements of soy, soil, muddled beery fruits. My bottle doesn't seem to have much life left. Have another in the Cellar I'll drink soon and report on.
