Needs time, currently a bit hot...but showing its future beauty with some air.

A bit dry, then sweet. Black fruits. Pepper. Complexity. Concentrated, fruity and spicy. It would be good to keep it for long. Domaine les Grands Bois Rasteau Cuvee Marc 16 @3300, Umem JH, 231223-240126

Worried a bit about the age. No need, it was fabulous.

Big and bright. Lots of ripe dark fruit. Blackberry, cherry and plum. Black pepper as well as a hint of cardamom and nutmeg. Definitely some tannin left and it’s hot. Great with a steak.

On the nose, blackberry jam and cranberries. In the mouth, more jam, cracked pepper and slightly bitter tannins. Medium acid, medium tannins. Not fully together yet, showing some heat and youth. Needs some time but quite decent.

Big boy. All fruit and spice. Nice but not an end of the evening wine!

Amazing. Great value. Drinks like a Chateauneuf-du-Pape (which makes sense since the grapes are only 5 miles away). Drinks smoothly, good tannins, excellent finish. I highly recommend this one.
