@Amelie22 loved this wine! Pepperiness of syrah but with a beautiful medium bodied wine that was well balanced.

40% Cinsault 40% Syrah 20% Mourvèdre. Carbonic. Wanted to like this a little more but I’m still chasing that carbonic dragon that @Brendan Devine introduced me to from the TX High Plains. A prominent fig note paired nicely with some figgy/bacon/arugula pizza, tho.

I don’t know if the maker of this wine is into death metal l, but I do know that the title of Gojira’s 5th studio album is one and the same. The 4th track on that album is called liquid fire and this wine is definitely bringing that heat. 40% cinsault, 40% Grenache, 20% mouvedre. It’s got that funky meatiness of cinsault and a cranberry punch.

Maybe bit too unique

Holds a special place in my heart because it helped me to clarify my love of bright, tart, acidic red wines. Now I understand everything!
