Domaine Leroy
Côte de Nuits-Villages Pinot Noir
Young and tight (that’s what she said!); tart red cherries, cinnamon, pork jerky, grippy tannins. Needs time, but so damn enjoyable now.

Dec 23rd, 2018Cooked meat and jerky on the nose. Gripping and candied cherries gripping but soft well balanced. Elegance!

Dec 23rd, 2018Very rich and plump. Tannins fully resolved. Ripe dark fruits and cinnamon on the nose. This was a bit disjointed upon opening but meshed together with a few hours of air. Wife tasted blind and simply proclaimed “this tastes expensive” so the Leroy signature is clearly strong on this one...

Apr 10th, 2021A New Year's Eve wine, so tasting notes are approximate. Fairly sure I am underestimating this one.
