Great to see kooky vino like this for sale in Oddbins. Full of personality.

First fronton and certainly not my last. Gamay meets Malbec. Bright florals and red cherries but with some gentle tannins and killer acidity. For $20 retail in NYC, fantastic value, give me a case.

100% Negrette - Syrah-like but more herbal savory sour finish - ticking all my boxes

Funky barnyard nose at first. After a while violet is taking the stage along with black pepper and Black Forest berries. It’s an explosion. The explosion follows in the palate where the violet is everywhere and dances with a really strong acid backbone. Some irony taste as well. Quick finish with violet. Leaner than on other vintages and needs a while before opening. Apéro wine at its best

Folle noir
Deep garnet color. Black fruit and earthy. Smells like a natural wine some barnyard characteristics. Slight iodine. On the palate, earthy, funky and a touch bitter. A touch of wet dog aftertaste. 8.7

Fun, fruity, tooth-staining guzzler. Ideal cheeseburger wine with some snap on the finish.
