Purchased at tableWINE. Stuffy 👃, but here goes. Grapery jolly ranchery notes. A lovely Chardonnay-like butter-i-ness. Chewy. Round. Very nice. Yum yum yum.

Solid chenin Blanc but not amazing. Nice and crisp with mouth filling acidity and texture. Nice white to start a meal.

Pale straw color. A nice enticing nose of green apple, Jasmine flower, chalk dust, and powdered candy with a little yeasty breadiness in there too.

The drink is bone dry. I'm a little disappointed by this as the bottle is labeled "Sec" and I like a little RS in my Vouvray.

As it is, the acid is quite bracing and a little disjointed. There isn't enough "other flavor" to compensate for the lack of broadness on the palate. It's just kind of simple and tart.

Which is fine - it's not offensive by any means. And at the pricepoint ($16) I wasn't expecting much more than this.

It could quench your thirst on a hot afternoon or accompany a light simple fish dish.
