Superb nose with cherry, hay, some iron and pepper. Almost foillardesque. The palate is very well balanced with some sheer acid backbone qnf some fruit all around. A good grip, some tannins, some meet juice and a salty touch in the rear. A bright cherry enlightens the finish too. Good food wine. When in Lyon have Beaujolais!

Aug 13th, 20162014 vintage. Picked this up at Costco for $11.00. Never had this type of grape before but will definitely be drinking more of this wine. Excellent wine, smooth with a great finish. Highly recommend.
