Les Pucelles Saint-Aubin Chardonnay

I love what I’m seeing from Lamy Pillot these days. Great for fans of PYCM and Paul Pillot.

All around zesty, minerally and citusy, with no overt oak, and although it has a good amount of extract, the wine is light...almost ethereal.

Delicious, buttery Chardonnay that was incredible on Fondue Savoyard.

Pale light lemon. Subtle.

Mineral, Asian pear, light underripe orchard fruits, flinty.

Great complexity. Zesty, pinching acid. Like a taut bicep.

Orchard fruits, slight stone fruits, mineral for sure, nice creamy texture. Gravelly and sumptuous. Elegant. Beautiful.

Long finish.

Citrus upfront with a big vanilla finish. Quite acidic but not off-putting.
