Roc Epine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Pretty good, pretty big. Too expensive though for the taste.

Very smooth. Tobacco and/or leather. I enjoyed it.

Very nice and easy drinking wine. A lot of blackberries, plums and a slight bit of earth/meat type of notes. Very smooth with a long finish.

Trying to figure out if this wine is just asleep, bottle variation, or just average. Thinking the third. Dirty black cherry with some tobacco leaf. Moderate acidity from the start to finish. Some fruit was there...but there just wasn't a whole lot of it. Could be wrong, but I don't think this is going to get any better in bottle. Was expecting more from a 2010.

Red fruit, licorice, spice, nice long finish. V good.

Big start, easy finish

Not that good for the price. Give it a couple years
