Domaine La Suffrene
Cuvée Lea Bandol Rosé Mourvedre Blend
There is a savory slightly herbal presence to the blue fruits of this wine. Blueberries, olallieberries, juicy ripe black plum, dark raspberries, crushed dry rocks mixed with rich black earth and a long elegant ripe fruit finish. Acidity is spot on. 98 a great vintage in Bandol. If you love blue fruits in wine, this is it!!!

Jul 2nd, 2016Fresh salmon coloured rose wine with first taste a bit more full in taste, saw other reviews stating Chardonnay like, tend to agree. Gets better with airing smooth and light, not dry. Perfect for summertime.

Apr 28th, 2017Light salmon pink dry rose with mineral nose. The lightness and the freshness of the 2015 vintage have contributed to this bandol being almost a hybrid between bandol and cote de Provence in style: a little firmer than the latter but not as forceful as the former. Raspberries and red currants with a graphite edge. Good value and quite quaffable.
