Cuvée Marie Lirac Red Rhone Blend

Vintage 2015 | A matured smell with mushrooms, tobacco and flint, earthy tones. Velvety taste to die for. Made of grapes that are old, up to 140 years. I have a crush on this wine. Paired with ribeye from bbq, with a salad.

Too much tanine to give a fair opinion. Let’s try again in a few years.

This has aged awesomely. More mushrooms, good violets and raspberries. High concentration, tight tannins. Boom. Bottle says 100% grenache but feels more structured.

Light perfume soft leather slight salt and violet; surprising plum and cherry flavour, very Even, decays into sweet cherry and pepper in the throat, soft alcohol. Very very good and would be easy to get non drinkers into it. Pepper and cherry.
