The 2015 is a very well made wine from southwest France. 50% Syrah, 50% braucol. 12% alcohol. Medium ruby, medium intensity, nose of cassis, blackberry, chocolate, leather, corrugated steel, blood. On the palate, medium acidity and surprisingly silky tannins. More red and black fruit and a bit of iron. Outstanding value for the price and I wasn’t expecting much.
