Dark opaque ruby red. Dense aroma of red berries cured meat, smoke, and black pepper. Smooth rich flavor that takes up your whole mouth full of red plum, oregano, and steak. It’s followed by a flash of tannins that slowly crescendos. Beautiful by itself but then drank with pan seared del Monaco steaks and then the meat notes really came through.
