This was poured blind. Great quality wine. My first thoughts went to an elegant style Northern Rhône syrah, but I changed my mind to a spiced and structured style of Pinot Noir. Quality Burgundy? Never guessed this could be from Auvergne! Big revelation for me. Cool introduction @Saturne

Patrick Bouju's La Litre de la Jungle 2011. Mostly Pinot some gamay from Auvergne. Soaring nose, terrific acidity, explosive red fruit character, lovely finish carried by the acids.
