Fourchaume Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

Beautiful wine - blind tasted and called it Chenin Blanc from Loire, but I probably should have gone Burg Chard from the get go. Light, crisp, and delicious.

Way more Chardonnay than Chablis. They even wrote it on the label for me.

Clean Chardonnay with hints of citrus

Classic Chablis, lemon wet stone nose, great minerality & chalk body with ling clean finish

Nose of lemon sweet lemon & wet slate, body full, rich with lemon & complex minerals& chalk & long rich finish

A crisp white Burgundy, a tad tart at first but improves once opened.

Great little lunch wine. Hints of pear. Acidic but not overbearing

Floral and pear notes. Good backbone but missing just a little bit of something. Drinks more like a sauv blanc. Very good tho.

Young grand Chablis - acidity and minerals are still at the forefront with some citrusy notes brining up the back - needs more time before it can truly shine. Still - it's good stuff!
