A 1985 that still has another decade ahead of it still . Dusty cherry , shoe polish , minerals ; Asian spices , underbrush . Great fruit on the plate with some tannins still but long and powerful with tons of dry extract amazing juice .

This was a wow. Almost beyond words. Beautiful aged notes, earth, spice, minerals, sap, a kiss of menthol and a mesmerizing 2 minute finish. Blew me away in a classy way.

Lived it. Smooth, little tennis. Meaty with some spice and leather. Amazing color and fruit after 28 years

Wow! Took about 30min in decanter and really opened up. Dried cherry touch of forest floor - right on the edge of moving into the second stage of its life - really good bottle! #easterwine
