Pitch perfect. Just starting to show some nuttiness, but the intense meyer lemon, pastry cream and lime is front and center. Glorious acidity balances the richness. Very sad this is my last btl, but in an amazing spot now.

Aug 19th, 2023Faaaantastic. On the nose: wet stone minerality, soft vanilla, lemon oil, lime peel, soft musk, intoxicating perfume. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lemon, lime, lovely density, loads of wet stone...dark and so compelling. Lovely soft lime, vanilla and grapefruit on the finish.

Initially a big, rich nose with creamy oak, Fuji apple and lemon curd. With air it gets more focused with a floral top note. Palate is broad rich with ripe fruit driven by the vintage. Peach, apple and lemon rind flavors. Has a good touch of elegance on the finish. Should develop over the short term.
