Vintage 1978 | Incroyable! Unbelievable! Amazing. Velvety taste, grandma Pinot noir smell. / Paired with tenderloin and bell pepper Asian Style and cheeses / I often think ‘ how will this wine taste in 5, 10, 15 years?’ I seldom or never think ‘How tasted this wine 42 years ago?’ Now I do. | I think this must have been a Dutch bottling.

Vintage 1988 | opened without expectations. It’s a fragrant and delicate Old Lady! Pinot noir 32 years old: a smell with brushwood, truffle and plums. From a modest origin. Surprise, still very drinkable and no odd signs of wine that has passed away. I am lucky. | Paired with pasta porcini. It makes my day.
