This is a beautiful wine. If only I hadn’t been such a knucklehead and put it in the freezer four nights ago only to forget about it. Huge surprise that after such abuse it was delicious and seemed no worse for wear. Replete with notes of honey, toast, bay and mint, with a rich and luscious mouthfeel and a pleasing streak of acidity. Texturally and aromatically, like a bright and tart Rhone white.

Interesting wine from @garagiste_wine 2012 Domaine Ilarria Irouleguy Blanc
(Petit Manseng, Petit Courbu) From The far southwestern French region of Irouleguy. Rich golden color, intense, dense palate of poached pear, orange reduction, Golden raisins.

Not a bad start to T-giving. I wish, though, they would use better cork. Or screwcaps.

Pretty crazy wine. From the French side of the Pyrenees and based on 2 grapes I had never heard of before. Crazy combination of silky ash meets a heavily citrus yet old white burgundy, which sounds awful but was really interesting . Don’t know if I would buy 12 of these but as a one off this was cool.

Minerals with a peachy floral thing going on. It's got a delicate citrusy side that was quiet enjoyable with grilled salmon.
