kinda obsessed with this Basque producer's super-ferrous Tannat-based wines. Softer than their standard cuvée--maybe a 2009 thing?--but all kinds of awesome.

2009 vintage. Had this before, but enjoyed more 2nd time round. Decanted 2 hours before serving, this wine needs it. Earthy, dark cherries, firm but not harsh tannins. Probably better in a year or two but great now.
