Along with Mercurey, Fixin is another favorite overlooked Burgundy villages of mine. This wine was all about subtle, but poised expression. Medium bodied, a fantastic fresh and sappy nose and palate with brighter red fruits and berries, some spice and forest floor. Nice complexity, this will get better as this youngster outs on a few years.
