Nose has white flowers, sliced Bosc pear, sliced lychee, apricot skin, dry mason sand, banana peel and moist oak barrel (no char).

Palate has pear pureé, lemon zest, under-ripe pineapple, limestone water, minor oak influence with a medium finish, medium acidity.

More complexity than the Village, this Lieu-Dit bottle has more weight and structure. Suggest holding 2-4Y; 2023-25. ~$23

A nice bottle of Sauvignon blanc from the non-Sancerre Loire. Sometimes you have to diversify away from white burg, I suppose. This is very nice - 14.5%, but mostly only shows that way in the density of the wine on the palate. Wonderful white fruits, some rockiness, nice finish, medium plus acid. Excellent pairing with some wild caught cod with a miso panko crust.

Dad likes ok; little too lemony for Mom.

Stonefruit and minerals on the nose along with some funky fresh grassyness. Has a strong fresh squeezed orange juice and characteristic that is rare in wines and is a food pairing gem. Also some tart mango and passionfruit notes. A very slight whiff of flintiness and not the profile I was expecting for what is apparently a silex soil wine, but really strongly flavored, thirst quenching, tasty with a good leesy body and some complexity. Great QPR. Apparently ages well but I really am not sure how to guage on this one. It certainly has acidity, fruit, body and some structure, so I guess so
