Sharp-edged on open, this quickly softened in decanter, showing bright berry and twigs on the nose. What followed was a fabulously smooth and nicely delineated smoky red cherry soaked in Earl Grey tea. Fine tannins and a lonnnnng finish. For C$42 a steal!

Meatier, more muscular but not without the elegance and sheer happiness this wine has brought me with older vintages. Excited to check back in 4-6 years.

Jun 1st, 20152013. Great balance and enticing depth. Started off meaty and vegetal with cherry undertones then blossomed into full blown black cherry soda, mineral notes and a kiss of oaky vanilla. Lovely stuff.

Electric. Streamlined fruit and laser focused acidity. This wine is vibrant and alive. By no means a puzzle. She speaks, and she says "drink me!".. Everything I love about wine is in this bottle
