Top Notes For
Austere at first, thought maybe the fruit was gone but just needed an hour of air. Consider drinking soonish though. Tastes like lots of Grenache and lots of whole clusters. Leads with leather, animal, dried herbs, coffee grounds and eventually dark red cherries in syrup and cinnamon red hots enter the mix. Clearly from warmer southerly / mediterranean climes but there is still a sense of freshness and acidity here

Nov 2nd, 2016Was expecting more Dirty South here but surprisingly elegant and composed, maybe even a little closed. Not a ton aromatically, flavors of dark and sweet red fruit like cherries in syrup or pomegranate, but with some cool mineral tones, roses, leather. Plenty of grip
