Gouffier Mercurey La Charmée 2017: Medium-body. Medium-plus acidity. Fine tannins. A vibrant nose with bold, red fruit flavors as well as plum, earth, spice & oak. The finish was long & smooth. All in all, this was a very delicious & approachable Burgundy Pinot Noir wine. Lots of immediate brightness & freshness and as the evening progressed forward, this wine continued to evolve in aromas & flavors sip after sip. For me, this was a definite “buy again” wine. Satisfaction on all fronts! Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷
