Holy Jesus. This wine was just amazing. Ripe fruit resolved tannins. Opened up to be a purely enjoyable wine. Nothing rustic about this.

My first Roumier. The kind of wine you can drink all night long. Perfect mouthfeel and doesn’t overpower, as some wines do. Wish I had paid more attention and had better tasting notes. 1988 vintage, seems like the perfect time to drink.
