Pure and fresh cherry fruit. At this point in time, I was gone. Although I do remember being surprised when the bottle was revealed. Not much ripeness to it, unlike a 2009. Do prefer Maxime's wine (post 2011) more though the producer stamp on the wine is stronger than the terroir.

It is an amazing burgundy produced just a few hectares away from DRC2. Unbelievable aroma, body and finish!
