Domaine Georges Glantenay et Fils
Maison Dieu Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Another solid performance from a "small" appelation. Well made. Was better on day 2

Always nice opening this wine. Still needs 2 to 3 years to settle down...upside potential

Hard not to recommend this one. Entry level burgundy that is performing way above it’s status . Excellent wine.

I'm always told that you can't find good inexpensive Burgundy. Nonsense! Seek out the entry level stuff produced by dedicated generational winemakers and you'll change your mind. Here's a perfect example at $22. (For where it lands on the QPR ladder this is an easy 9.0. QPR aside, 8.8.)

Beware! This goes down very easily. I look forward to seeing where it lands down the road. Can easily see it hitting a 9+. (The labeling is now Domaine Glantenay and not Domaine Georges Glantenay Et Fils.)
