Last of these bottles. Past notes apply. Floral, herbal, tart red fruit, perfume. Very nice round body, plump yet delicate. Enjoyable finish.

Graduation Day for our son Christopher. Hereford High 2021. Next stop University of Maryland, College Park. We are super proud!!!

Bottle 1... Deep red-purple with beautiful, equally-spaced staining legs. Herbs and wild flowers dominate the nose, but tart red fruit--mainly sour strawberry--on the palate. Perfect round medium plus body, medium plus acidity--perhaps even high, medium delicate tannins and a very long finish. Alcohol is medium plus. Drinkable now... As I'm currently drinking it... Better in another couple-three years.

I gave this wine the eloquent description of "yummy". But it is. Which is funny because before sipping I took a whiff and thought "oof there is a bit of earthy funk in that". But then! The fruit you get on the tongue is like candied fruit without the sweetness. Some brett on the nose and back palate to alert you that this wine is more than Yummy, it also is Serious. Good stuff. I'd drink more.
