Domaine Forey Père & Fils
Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir
Everyone agreed it was pretty weak for a Grand Cru, which made sense upon its reveal. Just a little lacking in intensity and depth, but it was pretty easy drinking. Red fruited, spicy, and juicy, with a touch of musk and earth. Didn’t find it too distinctive or memorable. Ok.

Drinking very well already! Classic wine with dark, earthy fruit mixing grace and power.

Jun 6th, 2018Terrior Tasting Lovely floral notes that support the red cherry, red raspberry and blood orange fruit. Lots of sweet wood spice and a touch of mushroom add interest. Good intensity and cut on the palate but lacks just a hint of fruit depth and spice. More black cherry and red raspberry flavors with a nice touch of sous bois. Just lacks a touch of persistence and real depth on the finish.
