Clos Saint Jean Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Was surprisingly straw colored and tasted aged even though only 5 years old. Probably not stored properly

Key lime, meringue. Stone. Dried lemon rind dry finish. Delicious

A wonderful example of how the French embrace Chardonnay a rich mouth with balanced acidity some oak notes with great length

Great nose well integrated

Great wine with good balance of acidity and Oak. Elegant and medium bodied with slight overtones of vanilla and lemon. Wonderful wine

Pepper, spice and lemon on the nose, citrus, pear. Drier and less buttery than most Chardonnay I've had.
